Membership Guide
1. Individuals engaged in or have interest in Statistics
2. Institutions, agencies, business enterprises and other organizations
interested in the objectives and willing to support the Association
3. Individuals engaged in or have interest in Statistics, who reside in
a locality of a chapter may elect to be a member of that chapter.

4. Student organizations in Statistics and allied disciplines may be
given accreditation status as an affiliate organization of PSA, if
they maintain at least 15 student affiliates.
A member in good standing for the current year is a member who
has fully paid his/her annual dues for the current year.
A PSA member in good standing for the current year is entitled to:
a. discounted fees for trainings, conferences and seminars organized and
sponsored by the association during the year;
b. access the “Members only” feature of the PSA website. The access code
enables a member (life, regular, institutional, chapter and affiliate organizations)
to download full papers presented in conferences, seminars and trainings,
articles published in The Philippine Statistician,and updates relevant to members;
c. vote on all matters relating to the affairs of the Association;
d. be elected or appointed to any position of the Association;
e. participate in all deliberations in the meetings of the Association;
f. avail of all facilities of the Association; and,
g. examine all records or books of the Association during business hours;
Except for Life Membership, the period of membership is one Calendar Year (January-December)
The annual fees of each Individual Member of the Association as well as the minimum contribution for the institutional members shall be determined and fixed from time to time by the Board of Directors with the approval of the majority of the members (Article 1, Section 5 of By-Laws).
For the years 2008-2010, the annual fees for individual and institution members are:

Any individual member of the Association may elect to become a life member by paying a single payment to commute his/her annual fees for life in accordance with the rates for life membership as established by the Board of Directors (Article 1, Section 5 of By-Laws). Life membership fees are based on the individual’s age at the time of his/her application for life membership. Life membership fees can be paid in 1,2,3,4, or 5 years.
